About PEB

About PEB

Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) are modern construction solutions that involve the use of pre-designed and pre-fabricated steel structures. These buildings are engineered at a manufacturing facility and then assembled on-site, offering significant advantages in terms of cost, time, and efficiency.

Why PEB?

Easy Transportation

Low maintenance cost

Suitable for various weather conditions

Provision for future expansion

Single source responsibility from inception to completion

Simple design, light weight and easy to construct

Shortest delivery period on an average of 6-8 weeks

Fast erection process with predetermined calculative time and cost

Speed of construction

Comparison Between Pre-Engineered Building Structure & Conventional Structure

STRUCTURE WEIGHT
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
30% lighter, Primary framing members tapered built-up plate sections, with larger depths in areas of highest stress.

Secondary members-light gauge roll formed 'Z' or 'C' shaped members are designed from scratch.

CONVENTIONAL
Primary steel members selected from "|" sections, used in many segments are much heavier than what is actually required.

Secondary members, selected from hot rolled '|' & 'C' sections, each steel structure is heavy.
DESIGN
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
Quick & efficient. Basic designs are used over & over. CAD programmes optimize material required. Standard details minimize Project custom details. PEB designing & detailing is done everyday, resulting in faster and more efficient designs.
CONVENTIONAL
Substantial engineering & detailing required for every project.

Each project, a separate case, needs more time to develop the design & details of the unique structure.
DELIVERY
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
Shortest delivery period on an average of 6 to 8 weeks.
CONVENTIONAL
Extended delivery period of nearly 20 to 26 weeks.
FOUNDATIONS
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
Simple design, light weight, easy to construct.
CONVENTIONAL
Extensive, heavy foundations required.
ERECTION COST & TIMES
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
Cost & time factor are precisely known. Erection process fast, easy, step by step with minimum requirement of equipment.
CONVENTIONAL
Cost & time factor not pre – determined.20-25% more expensive. Erection slow, extensive field labour required, with a need of heavy equipment.
SEISMIC RESISTANCE
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
The structure being flexible and of less weight offer higher resistance to seismic disturbances.
CONVENTIONAL
Heavy and rigid structures are vulnerable in seismic zones.

PRICE STRUCTURE
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
Per square meter prices are 30% less then the conventional structures.
CONVENTIONAL
Per square meter prices are very much higher.

SOURCING & COORDINATION
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
The building structure is supplied complete with cladding and all accessories, which include erection (on demand) from single source.
CONVENTIONAL
Due to the involvement of many agencies of suppliers and sub-contractors, more time is required for Project Management.
RESPONSIBILITY
PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING
It will be the sole responsibility of the supplier as it is a sort of Turn-Key Project.
CONVENTIONAL
Due to involvement of various agencies, single responsibility cannot be fixed.
